Miranda Lambert Talks New Album, Texas Roots, and Living Her Dreams

The Country Music Star Opens Up About Her Latest Work and Her Journey to Success

Miranda Lambert is one of the biggest stars in country music, and she's not slowing down anytime soon. Her latest album, "Palomino," is a return to her Texas roots, and it's already receiving rave reviews.

In a recent interview, Lambert opened up about the new album, her Texas upbringing, and her journey to success.

On Her New Album, "Palomino"

"Palomino" is Lambert's ninth studio album, and it's her first since 2019's "Wildcard." The album is a mix of traditional country, rock, and pop, and it features collaborations with some of the biggest names in music, including Jon Randall, Jack Ingram, and Elle King.

Lambert says the album is a reflection of her life and her journey so far.

"I've been through a lot in the past few years, and this album is a way for me to process it all," she says. "There are songs about love, loss, heartbreak, and redemption. It's a very personal album for me."

On Her Texas Roots

Lambert was born and raised in Lindale, Texas, and she says her upbringing has had a major influence on her music.

"Texas is in my blood," she says. "I love the people, the culture, and the music. It's a special place, and I'm proud to be from there."

Lambert's Texas roots are evident in her music, which often features themes of small-town life, heartbreak, and redemption.

On Her Journey to Success

Lambert's journey to success has been a long one, but she's never given up on her dreams.

"I've always loved music," she says. "I started singing and playing guitar when I was a little girl, and I knew that I wanted to be a country singer."

Lambert moved to Nashville when she was 19 years old, and she quickly began to make a name for herself. She released her debut album in 2005, and she's been a major star ever since.

Lambert says she's grateful for the success she's achieved, but she's never forgotten her roots.

"I'm a small-town girl at heart," she says. "And I'm never going to forget where I came from."
